Description

RICHARD III MEETS MEAN GIRLS IN THIS HIGH-SCHOOL POWER STRUGGLE
What’s a teenaged Richard Gloucester to do when he’s made the laughingstock of Roseland High School? Run for senior class president, of course. But will winning the presidential race—against the star quarterback, no less—be enough to satisfy his hunger for popularity? This deliciously witty and darkly funny Shakespeare adaptation takes a modern stance on disability, power, and perception.

This event is for:

Relaxed performances are designed for anyone who might benefit from a more casual audience environment, including patrons with sensory and/or processing disabilities, those who identify as Neurodivergent, people with disabilities, parents with small children, and more! There is a laid-back approach to noise and movement within the theatre space, which may be a good introductory experience for new theatregoers.

Event Location:

Newmont Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre, Arts Club Theatre Company

162 W 1st Ave #203, Vancouver, BC V5Y 0H6
