AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT:

Looking to tell stories, collaborate with artists, create theatre and take the stage?

Theatre Terrific is looking for folks to audition for our annual Harvest production, titled
"Proximity: The Space Between Us."

Proximity: The Space Between Us will explore themes around human relationship, fate, and possibility – the delicate balance of distance and connection through a series of interconnected narratives. This is a physical theatre production that invites you to be a co-creator in a devised process, bringing your unique perspective and creativity to the stage.

What is Harvest? 

 

Throughout the year, Theatre Terrific offers classes and workshops led by practicing professionals throughout the Lower Mainland and, in the past, provincially in Kelowna, Powell River, Prince George, and beyond. The classes aim to professionally develop the artistic and theatre production skills of the members of our communities. In May every year; we invite the graduates of these classes and members of our communities to audition for a new production. Then, by September, we present the show to the general public; It's simply the year's harvest!
 
The show is developed through a collaborative process with the artists; we start only with a general concept and then build characters and scripts through weekly creative workshops.

"The Harvest" is continuously looking to deliver relevant presentations and foster talents of all abilities and backgrounds, prioritizing artists with disabilities. All Theatre Terrific's shows and classes are ASL interpreted, and we are actively engaging the community to understand its accessibility needs.

Audition information:

Location: Green Thumb Theatre, 5522 McKinnon St., Vancouver

Two dates to choose from: Tuesday June 18 or Wednesday June 19.

Rehearsals:
July 1st – August 15th on Tuesday to Thursday
August 19th – August 29th Monday to Thursday
 
Times: 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Tech Rehearsal: September 3rd
Dress Rehearsal: September 4th
